Rachel Ives is a writer from Sydney, Australia.

She holds a bachelor degree in communications (journalism), a post graduate degree in teaching (secondary), and is currently completing a masters degree in ancient and modern history.

Rachel has had various jobs including working as an English tutor and teacher of creative writing. She has worked with students completing the world literature program through the International Baccalaureate, worked as a casual high school teacher, and a journalist.

When she is not working, Rachel is an avid reader and passionate bibliophile. She also enjoys cooking, growing her own vegetables, music, wine and travel.

Rachel lives with her husband and two cats.
